1. Limited warranty coverage
New products include a limited warranty of at least 12 months from deliveryfor defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The product's written warranty identifies the warrantor, covered components and service terms. Some manufacturers offer longer coverage. Ask us for the applicable written warranty before ordering if you need help finding it.
Product-specific coverage is shown on the product page and in the supplied warranty documents. Any warranty offered for a refurbished product is stated separately in its listing. Contactinfo@evergreenandpetals.com with the model name if anything is unclear.
2. Exclusions
Subject to the product's written warranty and applicable law, coverage does not include:
- normal wear and consumable replacement, such as light bulbs, fuses, batteries or the gradual fading of foliage and ribbon in direct sunlight;
- damage caused by accidents, impacts, improper storage or use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions;
- water or corrosion damage beyond the product's stated protection rating;
- damage caused by incompatible chargers, incorrect voltage or charging outside the specified temperature range;
- damage caused by modifications, improper repairs or incorrect installation;
- commercial or rental use where the product's written warranty excludes that use;
- cosmetic wear that does not affect operation.
Using an independent repair service or a third-party part does not, by itself, void warranty coverage. Damage caused by an improper repair or incompatible part may be excluded, as allowed by applicable law.
3. Battery coverage
Battery capacity normally decreases with age and charging cycles. Normal gradual capacity loss is different from a defect. If a battery will not charge, fails to hold a charge or loses capacity unusually quickly, contact us so we can assess it against the product's written warranty. Follow the manufacturer's storage and charging instructions, and stop using a swollen, leaking or damaged battery.
4. Requesting warranty service
- Email info@evergreenandpetals.com with your order number, product model, a description of the problem and any error codes. Photos or a short video can help.
- We will help troubleshoot where appropriate and explain the next steps.
- If an eligible item needs to be returned for warranty service, we arrange collection at our cost.
- We coordinate repair or replacement with the manufacturer or service provider. If neither can be completed within a reasonable time, we will arrange a refund under the applicable warranty and law.
Keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Do not ship a product for service until we provide return instructions, particularly for batteries and large appliances.
5. Your rights under US law
A written warranty is in addition to rights available under applicable federal and state law, including implied warranties where applicable. Your rights may vary by state, and the end of a written warranty does not automatically end every legal remedy. This policy does not disclaim implied warranties or limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited. See our returns and refunds policy for defective items and return instructions.
6. Installation and safe use
Follow the manufacturer's installation, operation and maintenance instructions. Electrical, gas and plumbing work must meet applicable US state and local codes and permit requirements. Use a qualified, licensed professional where required. Damage caused by incorrect installation, freezing or use contrary to those instructions may be excluded under the written warranty.
